Tanner Marino
reached out to the Unicode Consortium and asked for a bisexual banner, and then have his suggestion denied. (Seemingly, the Unicode Consortium didn’t believe it would be used very frequently…)

But Marino began a petition that achieved over 10k signatures. That is correct, folks—queer individuals arrive!

Unfortunately, Unicode does not simply take petitions under consideration within emoji-choosing process, so there has however as a bisexual banner emoji. But our hands continue to be entered. Here’s hoping that bi folks (and just about every other queer communities currently missing an emoji because of their banner)  obtain emojis soon.
